SoccerRockz U'9's Summer Tournament 2017
On Sunday 23rd July 2017 we hosted our fourth and final football tournament of the Summer!
Determined to ensure that we finished on a high!! preparations had began a little earlier than usual!
We welcomed 12 x U'9's teams to Coventry Sporting FC where yet again the pitches were in fantastic condition, having enjoyed a sprinkling of much needed rain from the previous few days.
Excited Players and Managers arrived early were eager to showcase their talents. We were privileged to have a number of the top local U'9's teams, join us for what was sure to be a brilliant day of Football.
The 12 teams were placed into 2 groups of 6. Again the format of the competition ensured every player would leave with a Medal or Trophy to remember the day!
1st & 2nd placed teams would be placed into the prestigious World Cup Finals.
3rd & 4th placed teams into the European Championship.
5th & 6th placed teams into the Copa America Cup.
The group stages provided some wonderful football and individually there were moments of brilliance! The goals were flying in, with each team displaying fast, attacking football.
