SoccerRockz U'8's Summer Tournament 2017
On Sunday 16th July we welcomed 12 Teams from across the Midlands to the SoccerRockz U'8's Summer Tournament!
After the success of the U'6's & U'7s event over the last two weeks we were keen to keep the standards high and enjoy a friendly, yet competitive football tournament. Each team hoping to take some silverware back to their respective clubs!!
The teams were placed into two groups of 6, with our popular format of ensuring every team progresses out of the group, into their own Mini Cup Competition. 1st & 2nd placed teams would be placed into the prestigious World Cup Finals. 3rd & 4th placed teams into the European Championship. 5th & 6th placed teams into the Copa America Cup.
The Football on display, was up there with the best we've seen so far! The players were on great form and the parents enjoying every minute!! By the afternoon, the clouds had cleared and we were treated to some exceptional football, including a number of penalty shootouts deciding some very closely fought games!! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for another wonderful day of Fun & Football!!
